About Greg
Having represented GB at 4 Olympics winning 3 medals including Gold in 1992 with brother Jonny, Greg is rightly regarded as one of our best rowers over the last 20 years. Greg made a historic comeback aged 40 to row for Great Britain at London 2012 and claimed a Bronze medal in the Eight.

He started rowing in 1985 by 1990 had become only the second British junior to win two World Championship Gold medals. After leaving school he went straight into the GB team and claimed gold in 1992 in what is one of the most iconic races of all time when Greg and Jonny rowed down the nine times World Champions and twice Olympic Champions, Abbagnale brothers to take the Gold medal on the line in a breath-taking race.

Greg travelled to his second Olympics in 1996 in Atlanta as a were the crew were disappointed to come out with the Bronze medal. Further disappointment followed in Sydney in 2000 where they led to 1250m but succumbed in the last 15 strokes to finish just outside the medals.

Greg stepped out of rowing in 2001 to take up the position as grinder in the GB America's Cup team, and competed in the A.C.Challenger Series in 2002 with GBR Challenge.

Following London 2012 Greg retired (again!) from professional rowing and now applies his learnings from 4 Olympics to helping individuals, teams, and organisations be the best they can possibly be.
